The Full Story
As a youth I can clearly reminisce feeling of sensation of curiosity boiling with-in me. It felt like fire starving for water to put out, with a burning desire I desperately asked questions to my elders around me for answers. I never got the answers I craved for, at 17 I was organically forced to move out on my own and that was the start of my book journey. I recall my step-brother often encouraging me to go to school and while waiting for my college class schedule there was a used book tent, my heart pulled me to the psychology bin and a yellow bound book " I could do anything if I only knew what it was, by Barbara Sher" a few chapters in, I was convinced. Immediately I cancelled my class schedule advised by my counselor and I enrolled into all the classes that was calling my soul. Six years later and five different community college I visit my counselor's office after transferring my transcript, I asked her " how close am I to graduating college ? " with a upset head shake she replied " it looks like you took all courses that don't give you credit there fore you can't. I didn't care I felt more ready than ever. Immediately I got hired by a tech company in Downtown Los Angeles and worked my way up to supervisor in 3 short months, I was unstoppable.
Today I overlook 9 different companies and started dozens more and gave them away as a charitable act.

The moral of this story is follow your intuition because curiosity is our minds knocking on our bodies door to DO THIS! - Derek Wong

Here's my tip to reading, never read to finish a book, rather:
1) skim the table of content
2) read only what pulls your soul in
3) put the book down and execute that practice for 21-90 days until it becomes your natural habit
4) rinse and repeat forever you're alive and you'll achieve more than your current imaginations.
